Grew up in Attawapiskat, I’m a mostly self-taught artist. I used to work with black and white drawings, but within the last couple of years, I became a digital artist, meaning I make my works on a tablet. Hope to expand my artistry into painting and other forms of media.
I’m a self-taught artist and I’ve been drawing on and off ever since I was young. I only started taking things seriously a few years ago. Initially I did pencil drawings, did inked drawings once I purchased pens and now I am a digital artist, meaning I do all of my work on an ipad. This allowed me to incorporate colours into my pieces, something I haven’t done as I mostly did black and white art due to limited resources.
A lot of my inspirations are from my own culture, my own interests and art that I’ve seen over the years. For example, alot of my earlier pieces often involved skulls, animals local to my area and a starry night sky.
