Gerry McComb is a Cree artist from Moose Factory, currently based in North Bay. Over the past years, he has embraced cultural identity, history, social issues and his own healing journey through painting, mixed media and sculpture. His experiences as an individual of Cree ancestry drives his work.

Using scenes that bring together realism and surrealism, he aims to both bring awareness to the state of the Indigenous experience while also expressing the beauty of spiritual healing.

Gerry's works’ have addressed hardships brought about by the residential school system and have also explored the theme of spiritual healing ceremonies. He currently works as a cultural advisor, freelance graphic designer and artist contractor in the North Bay area.
